PAINT COLOURS

We show here some close-up shots of Annie Sloan chalk paints as used on past and present projects. There are more than 20 beautiful shades to choose from and all are best seen in hand-painted form rather than as a reprographic chart which can often distort and change the appearance of the true colour.
These are just a handful of shades to inspire you - please call into Painted Country in person (if possible!) to see the full colour range.

A diluted 'Old White' (a wash) painted over 'Paris Grey' and distressed. Inside the drawer is a red called 'Emperor's Silk'.
'Antibes Green' isn't for the faint-hearted! It's beautiful warm green that looks stunning when used in the right places.
'Old White' - this time undiluted painted directly over the wood and rubbed back to reveal some dark oak. The interior of the drawer is 'Burgundian Red'.
This paint adheres to metal aswell! Here we have used 'Olive' over 'Burgundian Red'.
'Duck Egg Blue' is used here.
A subtle pink shade called 'Antoinette'.
'Aubusson Blue' with 'Burgundian Red' highlights on mouldings.
'Chateau Grey' is the main colour used, with highlights of 'Scandinavian Pink'. Also seen peeping through is 'Antibes Green'.
'Louis Blue' with 'Scandinavian Pink' on the inside of the drawer.
'Graphite' is the only Chalk Paint to contain any black!
'Country Grey' is one of our most popular colours. A lovely soft 'putty' shade.
'Paris Grey' looks great on this old armoire with 'Old White' on the panels.
'Chateau Grey' used over 'Country Grey' with 'Primer Red' on the top of this old chest.
If any colour has class then it's this lovely greeny-grey called 'Versailles' seen here painted over 'Cream'.
'Duck Egg' looks good on practically everything!
