               Painted Furniture - 'French Rustic'
Working first on sample boards then later on your own piece of furniture, you will learn how to achieve beautiful painted finishes in French country style using Chalk Paints and waxes. Techniques include two-colour distressing, cracked paint, hand-painted and simple stencilled designs. You just need to bring along a small piece of furniture to work on. Lunch, refreshments and all work materials included.

                 'Simple Decoupage' & 'Simple Gilding'
Two separate workshops for these historic art-forms:  Decoupage is the art of decoratively glueing paper cut-outs to a surface, then varnishing to give the impression of a hand-painted design.Traditional Gilding uses beautiful, fine, metallic papers over a painted base colour.On these workshops, we take very plain objects and transform them into attractive pieces using the above techniques. Making use of decorative papers, paints, varnishes and gilding materials, we spend the day creating something from nothing – the finished results will be yours to take home. No need to bring anything - we provide the objects!  
Simple Decoupage: £98  includes lunch, refreshments & materials. 9.45am till 4pm
Simple Gilding: £75 includes materials and refreshments. 10am till 2pm

Cancellations: Should you wish to cancel or change the date of your booking, we will do our best to accommodate. However, an admin. fee of £25 may be deducted in the case of refunds. We are unable offer refunds for any cancellations made with less than 14 days notice prior to the date of a workshop unless we are able to re-sell that same place in which case the above-mentioned admin. fee will apply.
